The Maker’s Story

Midnight Aurora was inspired by the colors that appear when the night sky comes alive—deep green, blue, flashes of fire, and unexpected light moving through darkness.

I wanted to create a necklace that carried that same feeling: mysterious at first glance, then full of color when the light finds it.

At the center of the design are hand-faceted black opal rondelle beads, each one revealing its own shifting combination of green, blue, red, and gold. I paired them with bright, earthy, faceted peridot for contrast—the fresh green tones bringing a sense of light and movement to the darker opals.

The stones are connected with 14k gold-filled wire, chosen for its warm glow, durability, and elevated finish. The necklace is designed as a choker, sitting close to the collarbone, with an extender so the fit can be adjusted to suit the wearer.

Midnight Aurora feels both delicate and wild. It was made for evenings under open skies, spontaneous road trips, mountain towns, coastal nights, and all the places where you feel most like yourself.
